Your AI assistant can also help you shop smarter. With your facturillo account connected, Claude or ChatGPT can look up the prices Panama's chains publish in their online stores, such as Super 99, Rey and Riba Smith, and answer you in plain language. It works on every plan, the Gratis plan included.
What your assistant can tell you
Where a product is cheapest. It searches by name, brand or barcode and tells you which store has the lowest price and how many stores list it.
Every price for one product. It shows you the price at each store, cheapest first, with a link to the online store and, if you ask, whether it is in stock.
How a price has moved. It walks you through a product's price history at each store. On the Gratis plan you see the last 30 days.
What your basket costs at each store. It compares a list of products, or one of your baskets in the app, across the stores and tells you which one comes out cheapest overall.
Every answer tells you the day the price was read and the store it comes from.
What you can ask it
You ask the way you would ask a person. For example:
"Where is ground coffee cheapest?"
"Show me this detergent's price at every chain, cheapest first."
"How has the price of rice changed over the last month?"
"Compare my grocery basket across the chains."
"Which products in my basket dropped in price this week?" PRO
"Which chains carry the products on my watch list?" (Business plan)
Where the prices come from
Every night facturillo reads the chains' public online stores and recognizes the same product at each one by its barcode. That makes them online prices: they tell you what each chain publishes on its website, not the shelf price in a store.
Keep in mind
Riba Smith only lists the products it has in stock, so a product missing from Riba Smith is most likely sold out there. El Fuerte marks every product as available, so at El Fuerte the stock status does not tell you whether something is sold out.
Your baskets
A basket is a list of products you put together, the same one you find under Canastas (Baskets) on the app's home screen. Ask, and your assistant creates a basket, adds or removes products, deletes it, and tells you which store is best for buying all of it, or how to split it between two. facturillo recalculates the basket within seconds every time it changes.
For example: "Make a basket with milk, bread, eggs and coffee, and tell me where it comes out cheapest."
The assistant builds your personal baskets, with the same limits on baskets and products you have in the app on your plan. It never touches anyone else's baskets.
Plans
Every plan comes with a daily number of price lookups. Each time your assistant looks up prices or uses your baskets counts as one lookup, and the counter resets at midnight, Panama time. Your assistant can tell you how many you have left.
Gratis: 30 lookups a day and 30 days of price history.
Pro PRO: 300 lookups a day, the full history and price changes, meaning cuts, rises and products that arrive at or leave a store.
Business: 1,000 lookups a day, a watch list of your own products, their availability at each chain and CSV exports.
For chains and brands there is Cuestio, facturillo's product for businesses: unlimited online price tracking, the price index and promotions.
Privacy
Prices are public data from the online stores and hold nothing of yours. If your plan includes your receipts, your assistant reads them and never changes them. The only things it writes to your account are your baskets and your watch list, and only when you ask.
