The spending analysis shows you where your money goes: how much you spent in the week, the month or the year, how it compares with the previous period and how it splits by category, by store and by brand. It builds itself from the receipts you scan or add, and it is included in the Free plan.

What you can do with it

insights

See your total spending for the week, the month or the year, and whether you spent more or less than in the previous period.

donut_large

Split that spending by store category, by product category or by store brand, on a bar chart or a donut chart.

receipt_long

Tap a category or a brand and see exactly which receipts make up that amount.

bar_chart

Check your budget for the month from the same screen.

Where it is and how to use it

1

In the bar at the bottom, tap the Analytics tab.

2

At the top, pick the period: Week, Month or Year. Right below, the arrows ‹ and › on each side of the period name take you to the previous period or back to the current one.

3

The first card shows your Monthly Spend (or weekly, or yearly) and how much more or less you spent than last period. Tap it to open the Spend Analysis screen with the full detail.

4

In Spend Analysis, choose how to group: Store Category, Product Category or Store Brand. The chart icons switch between bars and a donut, and in the month view you can show the bars by Days or by Weeks.

5

Sort the list by Amount, Receipts or A-Z, and tap any row to see the receipts behind it.

Further down the Analytics tab, four cards take you straight to a detail: Store categories, Product categories and Brands visited open Spend Analysis already grouped that way, and Receipts opens the list of every receipt in the period. In the Month view, your budget card opens the Budget screen.

Tip

If the screen is empty, you have no receipts to analyze yet. Scan your first receipt and the analysis builds itself.

What Pro adds PRO

The full analysis is in Free. A paid plan adds these features inside the same screens:

calendar_month

Month start. If you get paid mid-month, you can track your spending from salary to salary. In Spend Analysis, tap the three-dot menu at the top right, pick a day from 1 to 28 and tap Save. To go back to the normal month, tap Reset to day 1. It applies to the spending and pockets analysis, while the budget follows the calendar month. In a shared account only the person who manages the account can change it.

business_center

Personal, Business or All. With your business profile active, a selector appears above the analysis to see your personal spending, your business spending or everything together. See Keep your personal and work spending apart.

scatter_plot

Your own categories. The categories you create show up in the analysis next to facturillo's. See Create your own categories.

smart_toy

Analyze with AI. The card below the chart lets you ask your assistant about your spending. On the Free plan, tapping it shows the plans screen. See Your AI assistant with facturillo.

In a family or business account, Spend Analysis adds one more way to group: User, which shows how much each member contributed.
