Your budget is what you plan to spend in a period. facturillo builds it from two things you set: how much you earn and how much you want to save. Whatever is between those two is your budget.

Income, savings and budget

The idea is simple. You start with your income for the period, subtract the savings goal you set for yourself, and the result is the budget you have to spend. That way savings stop being whatever is left at the end and are set aside from the start.

The first time

When you set up your budget for the first time, facturillo guides you through three steps: first your income, then your savings goal, and finally a summary to review. When you finish, your budget is ready and you can adjust it whenever you want.

Income for the period

Besides your main income, you can log additional income for the period, for example an extra payment or a side job. Each income you record adds to what you have available in that period, so the budget reflects your situation well.

Viewing each period

The budget is kept by period. On the budget screen you can move between periods with the date selector and see the income, savings and summary for each one. The budget is a feature of your personal account.
