PRO
With Category goals you split your monthly budget across your store categories (groceries, restaurants, transport, your own ones) and see, for each one, how much you have spent against what you planned. Whatever you do not assign stays free. It is a facturillo Pro feature.
Before you start
- You need a monthly budget set up. If you do not have one yet, follow Create and set up your budget.
- Goals belong to your personal or family account. They do not appear in a business account. In a family account, only the person who manages the account sees the pencil button to edit them.
What you can do with them
Give each category an amount, for example how much you want to spend on restaurants this month.
See how much you have spent in each category against its goal, and how much is left Unassigned.
Look back at earlier months' goals, because they are saved month by month.
How to create your goals
In the bottom bar, tap the Analytics tab and keep Month selected at the top.
Tap your budget card. Budget opens.
Tap the Category goals card (it reads Split your budget and track each category while you have no goals).
Tap the pencil button at the bottom right to open the editor.
Type an amount for each category you want to track. At the top you see your Budget, what is Allocated and what is left Unassigned, updated as you type.
Tap Save Goals. The button stays off if your goals add up to more than your budget: lower an amount first.
If you edit the current month, the change applies from this month onward. If you edit an earlier month, the change applies to that month only.
How to follow them
In Category goals you see a bar for each category with what you have spent against its goal, and an Unassigned row with the spending in categories without a goal plus the free budget. Use the ‹ and › arrows at the top to see another month. In Budget, the Category goals card shows a summary of your first categories.
Tip
Your custom store categories also show up in the editor, so you can set a goal for "Pets" or "Office". See Create your own categories.
If you use the business profile, your personal goals and your business goals are separate: in Budget, pick Personal or Business before opening the goals. In the All view, the screen shows your personal goals.
On the Free plan
In Budget, where your goals would be you see a Pro card. Tapping it shows the plans screen.
