With attachments you keep photos and documents next to a receipt, so everything important sits in one place. The receipt stays the same: the attachments are added to it and you open them from that receipt whenever you need them.

What you can attach

  • A warranty, a contract or the original paper invoice.
  • A photo you take with the camera or pick from your gallery, or a PDF.
  • Up to 10 files per receipt, each up to 10 MB.

Attach a file

Open the receipt: tap it in the Receipts tab of the bottom bar, or in the list on the home screen.

Tap the three dots at the top right. Options opens.

Tap Attachments. Next to it you see how many files the receipt already has. The Attachments screen opens.

Tap the + button at the bottom right and, in Options, choose Camera to take a photo, Gallery to pick one you already have or PDF to pick a document.

In Attachment name, type a Title that helps you recognise it (for example, «Warranty») and tap Save. The file shows up in the Files list.

Open, rename or delete an attachment

In the receipt, tap the three dots at the top right and then Attachments.

Tap the file in the Files list. A menu with its name opens.

Tap Download attachment to save it to your phone and open it, or Edit title to rename it and then Save.

To remove it, tap Delete attachment and confirm with Remove in Delete Attachment. This cannot be undone, and the receipt does not change.

Tip

Give each attachment a clear title, like «Warranty» or «Contract». When a receipt holds several files, the title is what lets you find the right one at a glance.

Limits

  • Each receipt holds up to 10 files. Once it reaches 10, the + button turns grey and adds no more: delete one to make room.
  • Each file can be up to 10 MB. If it is larger, facturillo tells you and does not save it.
  • Photos and PDFs are accepted. Photos are compressed a little when they are saved.

On the Free plan

Attachments are a paid-plan feature, Pro or Family. On the Free plan, Attachments shows in Options with the PRO label and, if the receipt has no attachments, tapping it opens the plans screen. If the receipt already had attachments, for example from when you had a paid plan, tapping it opens their list, and on that list the + button still shows and opens the picker. What the Free plan does not allow is getting started: with no earlier attachment, the row always leads to the plans screen.
